Lemon Water!

I'm just going to come right out and say that I was never a huge fan of lemon water. That was until I discovered all of the health benefits you can gain from this simple drink!! Now it's an everyday drink for me. I have a glass of lemon water as soon as I wake up. Then later if I still feel the need for coffee, I'll have some. It's amazing how much energy lemon water can give you! But it doesn't stop there! This wonderful drink does so much more including:
*Boost metabolism
*Helps your digestive system work properly (when you drink warm)
*Gives your skin a natural healthy glow
*Balances your body's PH
*Aids in respiratory conditions
*Helps cure a sore throat infection (you can even gargle 50% lemon juice with 50% water to speed things up!)
*Helps with high blood pressure
*Helps detox the body
So why not drink this? I like mine in a cup of warm water with a small amount of raw honey. It's actually very yummy!!! Bottoms up!

It's funny that I stumbled across this post (new follower from Monday's hop, btw)...I just recently tried a lemon, cucumber, mint water detox of sorts. I left out the mint (none at the store) and just made what I But I don't like lemon flavored anything, flavored water, or cucumber. So nothing about it was appealing. HOWEVER I did notice a difference in that I looked and felt de-bloated so I'd say it works! Hope to see you swing by High Heeled Mama sometime soon!!

Hmmm, sounds like something I need to try, I actually like lemon so I could see me incorporating this into my daily routine. I found your blog while doing some blog hopping and became your newest GFC follower. Looking forward to reading more. Have a fantastic weekend!
