This is by far my favorite laundry tip ever! If you have ever delt with getting tough odors out of your clothes then this is for you! From mildew smells, sweat, pet urine, and more... this WORKS! All it takes is a little bit of this:
VINEGAR!
YES, Vinegar!!! I have had my favorite blanket marked by one of my cats and I had tried EVERYTHING to get the smell out and almost threw it out until I found this! Just add some vinegar to the fabric softner dispenser of your washing machine or add it in the last rinse cycle to beat nearly any kind of odor! It will usually only take about 1/3 cup to do the trick. For larger items like my King size blanket, I used 1/2 cup. Your clothes will come out smelling wonderfully fresh!! It will not make your clothes smell like vinegar at all (which I also feared). Just give it a try you will love it! You can even add your favorite fabric softner after and give your items a final rinse. I only do this for bedding since I love the smell of lavender on bedding. So, I hope this tip helps some of you out!!!

I LOVE all the uses for vinegar. I have heard about putting in on your clothes but I have never tried it myself. Thanks for the reminder.
